Agriboard's compressed agricultural fiber panels have been used by the Military at Fort Hood and Fort Meade to construct sustainable buildings that provide the safety, energy efficiency, and blast resistance that surpasses conventional construction at a competitive price.
Additional benefits to using Agriboard panels include low labor costs for site construction. The panels come directly from the factory in single pieces that are moved into position with a small crane or forklift. Walls are connected to create a monolithic structure. The panels act as an integrated wall and insulated unit. Brick, stone facing, or siding may be applied to the exterior, and sheetrock or paint to the interior wall. Construction times, as compared to normal frame construction, are reduced by as much as 75% project.
Agriboard is working on a variety of potential projects that integrate agricultural fiber panels into future projects to support the unique needs of the U.S. Military.
